Intended to protect the user against the harmful effect of air pollution in the form of solid and/or liquid particles that form aerosols (dust, smoke, and mist).
MASK + PARTICULATE FILTERS
To protect the wearer from inhaling dangerous particles.
SELF-FILTERING MASK OR PARTICULATE FILTERING HALF-MASK
To protect the wearer from inhaling dangerous particles.
SURGICAL MASK
To protect the wearer from inhaling dangerous particles.
Additionally, those bearing the IIR marking may provide protection against splashes of potentially contaminated fluids.
DUAL MASK
Surgical mask + self-filtering particulate mask.
HYGIENIC MASK
They are not designed to protect against any hazard. They are not recommended for situations involving exposure to hazardous agents.
HEAD STRAPS
The mask straps adjust to the head and neck. They are recommended when protection is needed for extended periods of time as they are more comfortable. They are easier to adjust.
EAR STRAPS
The mask has two straps that fit over the ears. For long periods of time, they can become uncomfortable. They must be fitted properly so that the mask fits snugly against the wearer's face.AJUSTE A CABEZA
REUSABLE
The letter R must be printed on the mask. It refers to the fact that it can always be reused according to the manufacturer's instructions.
NON-REUSABLE
Masks marked NR are not reusable, so after use for an appropriate period of time they should be disposed of in a plastic bag in the non-recyclable organic waste bin.
